  • talking about having, naming, or anything to do with kids with boyfriends seems so taboo in this anti-commitment time we’re living in … we’ve all thought about it and if anybody you know’s ever denied thinking about it, they’re lah-ying … why are asian chicks always planning to give their kids elaborate white names like alexandria and elizabeth … or plain old ordinary names with extraordinary [in other words, annoying] spellings … i wanna name my daughter christina but i’m going to spell it k-r-y-s-t-e-e-n-a … twerpy spellings will not make your offspring any more special …. special means retarded … not to mention the trend in giving boys scottish names lately … it could just be me, but an asian kid with a name like mackenzie, ethan or liam just makes him look as stupid as his gae-rhan parents … why let the frustrations of having to endure life with a cookie cutter asian name like jenny lee or chris kim, out on the unfortunate next generation? … might as well name them my parents need therapy … u know what else pisses me off, when white ppl name their kids after a day of the week, like tuesday or wednesday … or after a country, like india or china … justified only with because it sounds nice … with white logic, i could one day be naming my kids holiday or south africa … that ain’t right!!

  • the only appropriate names for koreans are korean names. I’m gonna name my kids “hana” “dul” “set”.  Just makes things easier

  • Thanks for subscribing. I think I’m going to have some issues when I have to name my kids. I once named myself after a movie character… and that didn’t work out very well. Perhaps I’ll just name my kids something like Daniel and Danielle or Joseph and Josephine or David and Davina. Haha. That would be horrible….

  • I’d do it the way black people do it, by combining the first names of the parents.  So, with you and me, it’d be tonja or tojae, for a boy, and jony or jaony or jaeny for a girl.  It’s unique and other kids can’t make fun of them because they have no idea how to pronounce their names.  ;)

  • If we have more than 5 kids, we’d have to get creative.  Start combine the kids names together, use our parent’s name, or our last names.  Whatever it is, the kids will not have a name that is white, black, asian, or whatever.  Well, maybe a bit black, I guess.  I mean, who else would name their kids Tojae or Jaeny?  :)

  • camel is a karaoke/rock cafe type place where they play hiphop & trance sometimes…it’s basically the only korean club around these days except for a couple of small places…the bigger korean clubs like MK & Diablo closed down a while back

  • don’t worry, the downstairs is alot more fun anyway…nothing diffferent about sitting upstairs except it’s quieter.

  • it’s been a pretty mild winter all things considered…we had a frigid spell last month, but it’s warmed up alot lately…some years we get alot of snow, some years we hardly get any…alot of it depends on what comes down from up North.

    regarding ur post… my own name is strange, so i know first hand how ‘painful’ it is not to be a stereotypical jennifer, michelle or angela ;P no one pronounces my name right, pple ask if its *really* my name, or they make wierd nicknames… it sounds alrite in canto, but not really in english…

    so i’m prolly gonna give my kids stereotypical names [phoebe, tara, alex], to spare them from having to suffer =)
