i am so sick of rice and kimchi *shriek* ... i can't understand how koreans can not get sick of eating this sh*t day in and day out ... i miss vancouver's hundred million restaurants - korean ppl's version of eating ethnic food is going to mcdonald's =(

u know what i was thinking about today ... i was thinking about how guys are sososo stupid aghhh ... especially the 2nd generation ones ... if i had to describe them in one word, it would have to be confused ... always lost between their half fobber chinamen and half whiteboy ideals ... but of course leave it to me to like 2nd gens the best lol ... s'all good as long as they're just "confused bananas" and not the "confused+cheap banana" type of male ... u know what im talking about ... the type of guy who's always talking non-stop about the perfect "good-girl" fobber chick he wants but can never find and the cost and number of the modifications to his little import rice mobile ... but then, on the other hand, acts like a redneck whiteboy and wants to go dutch when it comes to things like paying the check after dinner ... or else he will think the chick's a digger ... die -_- ... classic stupid male lines have to be: "im unique", "my future wife has to be a virgin" or, "i may be in my 20's but i have the knowledge and maturity of an 80 year old man" ... whywhywhy ... if any of u guys have thought these things about urself, and i know u have, just remember that 80 yr olds can't take a sh*t by themselves and have to wear adult diapers =P~

there was a halloween long, long ago in the relatively short (?lol) history of jae ...

when she was still in elementary school and kept asking her mom to take her shopping for a costume to wear to her class halloween party ... but her mother, who despises shopping of any sort, kept saying let's wait until the last day to buy it cause if you buy it now you might rip it or something ... so jae waited and waited until the very last day and her mother finally took her to metrotown superstore to pick out a costume and wouldn't u know it, they only had 3 costumes left, 2 of them being damaged ... so that makes 1 left and, so it was, that little jae was doomed to wear a blow-up arm & hammer spray deodorant costume to her class party =*(

wth ... there is no such thing as daylight savings here ... evidently, they tried the take-away-an-hour thing some years ago and everybody got confused and it was decided that daylight savings was too complicated for this country lol ... korea's starting to grow on me hahaha

officially moved down to ulsan from seoul last week and being on my own has been like my own personal fear factor

there are these fossil-like old grandmas that sit around the subway stations, making a living off selling packages of gum and if you pass them by, they hit u with their bony knuckles =*(

was riding on the bus for the first time and the bus's back tire popped and the bus driver just kept driving-steering with one hand and dialing the tire repair service number on his cell phone with the other ... at least i made it to work on time ... i guess -_-;;;

just for the sake of writing about it on my xanga, i tried whale meat for the first [and last] time ... if u've never tried it, save yourself the pain ... it's like eating the meat of the fishiest fish known to man after it's been crossbred with the fattiest grissliest pork

my hair was beginning to look punjab so i went to get my hair cut at the closest salon to my place ... the dyslexic hairdresser chopped off 5 inches instead of 2 like i asked ... i felt like turning around and asking her if she was mental but it's not like she would have understood what i was saying neways ... i am bald

what's on the news: evidently death from alcohol poisoning in women under 30 in korea is on the rise lol ... who would have thought?!?!

there are these road side truck/tent places with tables and chairs that sell soju and korean food ... we happened to be driving by one with a relatively large fire roasting chicken bbq thingi right inside the back of the truck and somebody asked is it safe for a fire to be that big inside of a truck? ... what if the truck catches on fire and blows up? ... so i said extra crispy and nobody laffed ... i know its was a gay joke but worth a chuckle, no? ... damn fobs -_-

im in a bad mood ... which means another bitchy blog lol

went to a cello concert at the seoul opera house yesterday ... made me regret not bringing my violin with me overseas ... watching (hearing?) classical music being played blows

koreans dont know the first thing about classical music appreciation ... it's like when u see those cracked out candyravers at parties and they say stupid things like DUUUDE i can't wait until 1:30 cause that's when tiesto is on ... tiesto is my god ... they couldn't tell the difference between tiesto and dj dan if they were  handed separate records labelled tiesto and dj dan ... well, its the same thing with korean ppl and classical composers ... they just pretend to know what's going on so they can feel sophisticated and showoff their pretty clothes

as for u non-koreans, dont even think about agreeing with me on my stereotypes of koreans lol ... only koreans can stereotype koreans ... if there is one thing i hate, it's hearing stereotypes about us from ppl who dont have a clue ... so, i hear you korean people love your kimchi? ... how are we supposed to respond to that? ... yes, yes we do love our kimchi and btw, you're stupid

day 4 in seoul

i miss my family, i miss my friends and i miss vancouver

it's so polluted here ... i swear to god there is a grey film of car exhaust covering every last inch on everyting here from the buildings to the trees ... and the air smells like R2D2's asscrack ... i need to buy and keep a little patch of bright green, clean grass so i can step on it when i come home at night =I~

on the upside, there are a kajillion things to do and sights to see ... kajillions of pretty people left, right and center ... and i'll be reunited with my ex-international student gfs next week ... can't wait to see them =P~

ive finally stopped procrastinating and started to pack my things ... it's making me all emotional T_T ... k well, for those of u who are still here lol ...

seems as though all ive been doing lately is feeding my internet fix or pickling in some sort of whiskey ... i wanted to say thanks to those ppl who've taken the time to spend time with me this week and make me feel as tho i might be missed even a little =)

my sisters and i have never been separated from each other for longer than a few days so in prep for monday, we were reminiscing some of our moments over dinner today ... like the time we saran wrapped the toilet bowl and getting freaked on by our dad ... and the time we were flipping through tv channels until we came across jenny jones and saw our neighbor on it licking whipped cream off some chick's chest? ... that was weird lol ... or the time we forgot to provide our hamster with food and water and since it hadn't moved from its taxidermy stance in 2 weeks, we tipped it over with a chopstick and discovered it was dead O_o

this must sound like a home video blog LOL ... u know how ppl always wanna show u their boring a$$ home videos and nobody really wants to watch them but they do neways just to be nice? ... o well, sux to be u ahahaha

neways, just trying to say i'm sad about leaving and i'll miss my family and friends a lot =I~

martha stewart was in vancouver and i missed it?! doh! ... man, if i saw her giving a how-to demonstration, i woulda been the one moshing right up in the front -_-;;; i <3 u martha T_T
